I think the hardest thing I have learned in the business of longarming is, that I have the power to say no. It took me about 9 years to do so. Honestly, I wish I had learned earlier. I don't have to accept every quilt that someone brings me. It is okay to say no...lightning will not strike you if you say no. Your life will go on. If you say no, I will not make that quilt - and the person is mad, or walks out of your life - well, then that person was certainly NOT quilt worthy.
Thank you so much for reading my blog for the past 12 days ... it honestly has been a challenge somedays to making sure I write - but I have throughly enjoyed it!
My last gift recommendation ... is chocolate! Every quilter needs chocolate. I will say, I am not a huge peppermint fan ... however, I got a free bar of this chocolate at the local grocery store last week, and it is EXCELLENT! It is a peppermint bark...white chocolate and the peppermint on top of a milk chocolate base ... absolutely worth every penny!
