On the 2nd day of Xmas, my longarmer gave to me - the best advice - to lay out your quilt flat prior to dropping off. If there is any sort of mountains, or the quilt does not lay flat - maybe it skews to one side or the other - 9 times out of 10, that will not quilt out.
Advice if it is just a "little" fullness - I am not talking about INCHES eased in to the borders ... just maybe a little extra here and there - that can be compensated by the right kind of lofty batting. Here is a polyester and a wool batting I recommend:
